Howell County Health Department reports that an additional twenty-nine cases of COVID-19 have been identified in the county. This brings the year to date total number of cases to three hundred and thirty-two. Currently, there are ninety-seven known active cases in Howell County. Of these ninety-seven cases, seven are currently hospitalized with COVID-19. Seventeen of the new cases reside in West Plains, six live in Willow Springs, five in Pomona, and one lives in Mtn. View. Positive cases and significant exposures to cases have been notified and have been placed on isolation or quarantine. Thirteen of the cases are considered community spread, or the source of the infection is unknown. Sixteeen of the cases have been linked to known cases.
