Howell County Health Department reports that an additional twenty-eight cases of COVID-19 have been identified in the county. This brings the year to date total number of cases to four hundred and eleven. Currently, there are one hundred and twenty known active cases in Howell County. Of these one hundred and twenty cases, six are currently hospitalized with COVID-19. Eighteen of the new cases reside in West Plains, four live in Willow Springs, three live in Mtn. View and three live in Pomona. Positive cases and significant exposures to cases have been notified and have been placed on isolation or quarantine. Fourteen of the cases are considered community spread, or the source of the infection is unknown. Fourteen of the cases have been linked to known cases.
