Howell County Health Department reports that an additional 38 cases of COVID-19 have been identified in the county. This brings the year to date total number of cases to 679. Currently, there are 170 known active cases in Howell County. Of these 170, twelve are currently hospitalized with COVID-19. Of the new cases 28 reside in West Plains, 2 live in Mountain View, 2 live in Willow Springs, 4 live in Pomona, 1 lives in Caulfield and 1 lives in Peace Valley. Positive cases and significant exposures to cases have been notified and have been placed on isolation or quarantine. There are 20 cases that are considered community spread, or the source of the infection is unknown. There are 18 cases that have been linked to known cases.
