Howell County Health Department reports that an additional 19 cases of COVID-19 have been identified in the county. This brings the year to date total number of cases to 698. Currently, there are 170 known active cases in Howell County. Of these 170, twelve are currently hospitalized with COVID-19. Of the new cases 14 reside in West Plains, 2 live in Mountain View, 1 lives in Willow Springs, 1 lives in Pomona, and 1 lives in Caulfield. Positive cases and significant exposures to cases have been notified and have been placed on isolation or quarantine. There are 9 cases that are considered community spread, or the source of the infection is unknown. There are 10 cases that have been linked to known cases.
