Howell County Health Department reports that an additional 33 cases of COVID-19 have been identified in the county. This brings the year to date total number of cases to 783. Currently, there are 154 known active cases in Howell County. Of these 154, fifteen are currently hospitalized with COVID-19. Of the new cases 21 reside in West Plains, 2 live in Mountain View, 7 live in Willow Springs, 2 live in Pomona, and 1 lives in Kosh. Positive cases and significant exposures to cases have been notified and have been placed on isolation or quarantine. There are 8 cases that are considered community spread, or the source of the infection is unknown. There are 25 cases that have been linked to known cases.
