Howell County Health Department reports that an additional 32 cases of COVID-19 have been identified in the county. This brings the year to date total number of cases to 830. Currently, there are 168 known active cases in Howell County. Of these 168, 15 are currently hospitalized with COVID-19. Of the new cases 21 reside in West Plains, 5 live in Mountain View, and 6 live in Willow Springs. Positive cases and significant exposures to cases have been notified and have been placed on isolation or quarantine. There are 13 cases that are considered community spread, or the source of the infection is unknown. There are 19 cases that have been linked to known cases.
