Howell County Health Department reports that an additional 55 cases of COVID-19 have been identified in the county. This brings the year to date total number of cases to 925. Currently, there are 156 known active cases in Howell County. Of these 156, 18 are currently hospitalized with COVID-19. Of the new cases 41 reside in West Plains, 7 live in Mountain View, 3 live in Willow Springs, 1 lives in Kosh and 3 live in Pottersville. Positive cases and significant exposures to cases have been notified and have been placed on isolation or quarantine. There are 33 cases that are considered community spread, or the source of the infection is unknown. There are 22 cases that have been linked to known cases.
