Howell County Health Department reports that an additional 99 cases of COVID-19 have been identified in the county. This brings the year to date total number of cases to 1244. Currently, there are 275 known active cases in Howell County. Of these 275, twenty are currently hospitalized with COVID-19. Of the new cases 64 reside in West Plains, 15 live in Mountain View, 9 live in Willow Springs, 4 live in Pomona, 1 lives in Pottersville, 1 lives in moody, 1 lives in Bakersfield, 1 lives in Peace Valley and 3 live in Caulfield. Positive cases and significant exposures to cases have been notified and have been placed on isolation or quarantine. There are 45 cases that are considered community spread, or the source of the infection is unknown. There are 54 cases that have been linked to known cases.
