Howell County Health Department reports that an additional 63 cases of COVID-19 have been identified in the county. This brings the year to date total number of cases to 1457. Currently, there are 248 known active cases in Howell County. Of these 248, 11 are currently hospitalized with COVID-19. Of the new cases 39 reside in West Plains, 7 live in Mountain View, 14 live in Willow Springs, 2 live in Pomona and 1 lives in Caulfield. Positive cases and significant exposures to cases have been notified and have been placed on isolation or quarantine. There are 22 cases that are considered community spread, or the source of the infection is unknown. There are 41 cases that have been linked to known cases.
