Howell County Health Department reports that an additional 12 cases of COVID-19 have been identified in the county. This brings the year to date total number of cases to 1469. Currently, there are 212 known active cases in Howell County. Of these 212, 7 are currently hospitalized with COVID-19. Of the new cases 3 reside in West Plains, 1 live in Mountain View, 6 live in Willow Springs, 1 lives in Pomona and 1 lives in Moody. Positive cases and significant exposures to cases have been notified and have been placed on isolation or quarantine. There is 1 case that is considered community spread, or the source of the infection is unknown. There are 11 cases that have been linked to known cases.
