Howell County Health Department reports that an additional 59 cases of COVID-19 have been identified in the county. This brings the year to date total number of cases to 1528. Currently, there are 226 known active cases in Howell County. Of these 226, seven are currently hospitalized with COVID-19. Of the new cases 26 reside in West Plains, 3 live in Mountain View, 28 live in Willow Springs, , 1 lives in Pomona, and 1 lives in Pottersville. Positive cases and significant exposures to cases have been notified and have been placed on isolation or quarantine. There are 15 cases that are considered community spread, or the source of the infection is unknown. There are 44 cases that have been linked to known cases.
