Howell County Health Department reports that an additional 77 cases of COVID-19 have been identified in the county. This brings the year to date total number of cases to 1665. Currently, there are 210 known active cases in Howell County. Of these 210, five are currently hospitalized with COVID-19. Of the new cases 44 reside in West Plains, 9 live in Mountain View, 20 live in Willow Springs, and 2 live in Pomona, 1 lives in Moody and 1 lives in Kosh. Positive cases and significant exposures to cases have been notified and have been placed on isolation or quarantine. There are 39 cases that are considered community spread, or the source of the infection is unknown. There are 38 cases that have been linked to known cases.
