Howell County Health Department reports that an additional 17 cases of COVID-19 have been identified in the county. This brings the year to date total number of cases to 1682. Currently, there are 203 known active cases in Howell County. Of these 203, four are currently hospitalized with COVID-19. Of the new cases 15 reside in West Plains, 1 lives in Willow Springs, and 1 lives in Pomona. Positive cases and significant exposures to cases have been notified and have been placed on isolation or quarantine. There are 6 cases that is considered community spread, or the source of the infection is unknown. There are 11 cases that have been linked to known cases.
