Howell County Health Department reports that an additional 35 cases of COVID-19 have been identified in the county. This brings the year to date total number of cases to 1717. Currently, there are 203 known active cases in Howell County. Of these 203, four are currently hospitalized with COVID-19. Of the new cases 19 reside in West Plains, 5 live in Mountain View, and 11 live in Willow Springs. Positive cases and significant exposures to cases have been notified and have been placed on isolation or quarantine. There are 23 cases that are considered community spread, or the source of the infection is unknown. There are 12 cases that have been linked to known cases.
