Howell County Health Department reports that an additional 22 cases of COVID-19 have been identified in the county. This brings the year to date total number of cases to 1739. Currently, there are 209 known active cases in Howell County. Of these 209, one is currently hospitalized with COVID-19. Of the new cases 3 reside in West Plains, 7 live in Mountain View, 7 live in Willow Springs, 2 live in Pomona, 2 live in Caulfield and 1 lives in Kosh. Positive cases and significant exposures to cases have been notified and have been placed on isolation or quarantine. There are 12 cases that are considered community spread, or the source of the infection is unknown. There are 10 cases that have been linked to known cases.
