Howell County Health Department reports that an additional 63 (numbers include Saturday, Sunday and Monday) cases of COVID-19 have been identified in the county. This brings the year to date total number of cases to 1831. Currently, there are 164 known active cases in Howell County. Of these 164, one is currently hospitalized with COVID-19. Of the new cases 40 reside in West Plains, 15 live in Mountain View, 6 live in Willow Springs, 1 lives in Peace Valley and 1 lives in Bakersfield. Positive cases and significant exposures to cases have been notified and have been placed on isolation or quarantine. There are 31 cases that are considered community spread, or the source of the infection is unknown. There are 32 cases that have been linked to known cases.
