Howell County Health Department reports that an additional 32 cases of COVID-19 have been identified in the county. This brings the year to date total number of cases to 1939. Currently, there are 151 known active cases in Howell County. Of these 151, one is currently hospitalized with COVID-19. Of the new cases 13 reside in West Plains, 8 live in Mountain View, 4 live in Willow Springs, 2 live in Caulfield, 2 live in Bakersfield, 1 lives in Peace Valley, 1 lives in Pottersville and 1 lives in Pomona. Positive cases and significant exposures to cases have been notified and have been placed on isolation or quarantine. There are 13 cases that are considered community spread, or the source of the infection is unknown. There are 19 cases that have been linked to known cases.
