Howell County Health Department reports that an additional 62 cases (includes Saturday, Sunday and Monday) of COVID-19 have been identified in the county. This brings the year to date total number of cases to 2001. Currently, there are 156 known active cases in Howell County. Of these 156, three are currently hospitalized with COVID-19. Of the new cases 29 reside in West Plains, 22 live in Mountain View, 7 live in Willow Springs, 1 lives in Moody, 1 lives in Pottersville 1 lives in Pomona and 1 lives in Cabool. Positive cases and significant exposures to cases have been notified and have been placed on isolation or quarantine. There are 29 cases that are considered community spread, or the source of the infection is unknown. There are 33 cases that have been linked to known cases.
