Howell County Health Department reports that an additional 25 cases of COVID-19 have been identified in the county. This brings the year to date total number of cases to 2045. Currently, there are 168 known active cases in Howell County. Of these 168, seven are currently hospitalized with COVID-19. Of the new cases 9 reside in West Plains, 9 lives in Mountain View, 3 live in Willow Springs, 2 live in Caulfield, 1 lives in Pottersville and 1 lives in Pomona. Positive cases and significant exposures to cases have been notified and have been placed on isolation or quarantine. There are 12 cases that are considered community spread, or the source of the infection is unknown. There are 13 cases that have been linked to known cases.
