Howell County Health Department reports that an additional 30 cases of COVID-19 have been identified in the county. This brings the year to date total number of cases to 2075. Currently, there are 176 known active cases in Howell County. Of these 176, eight are currently hospitalized with COVID-19. Of the new cases 19 reside in West Plains, 7 live in Mountain View, 1 live in Willow Springs, 1 lives in Pomona, 1 lives in Moody and 1 lives in Caulfield. Positive cases and significant exposures to cases have been notified and have been placed on isolation or quarantine. There are 12 cases that is considered community spread, or the source of the infection is unknown. There are 18 cases that have been linked to known cases.
