Howell County Health Department reports that an additional 39 cases of COVID-19 have been identified in the county (totals include Saturday, Sunday and Monday). This brings the year to date total number of cases to 2143. Currently, there are 134 known active cases in Howell County. Of these 134, seven are currently hospitalized with COVID-19. Of the new cases 24 reside in West Plains, 6 lives in Mountain View, 3 live in Willow Springs, 2 live in Peace Valley, 1 lives in Pomona, 1 lives in Pottersville, 1 lives in Moody, and 1 lives in Caulfield. Positive cases and significant exposures to cases have been notified and have been placed on isolation or quarantine. There are 20 cases that are considered community spread, or the source of the infection is unknown. There are 19 cases that have been linked to known cases.
