Howell County Health Department reports that an additional 22 cases of COVID-19 have been identified in the county. This brings the year to date total number of cases to 2165. Currently, there are 135 known active cases in Howell County. Of these 135, seven are currently hospitalized with COVID-19. Of the new cases 15 reside in West Plains, 1 live in Mountain View, 3 live in Willow Springs, 2 live in Bakersfield and 1 lives in Caulfield. Positive cases and significant exposures to cases have been notified and have been placed on isolation or quarantine. There are 11 cases that is considered community spread, or the source of the infection is unknown. There are 11 cases that have been linked to known cases.
