Howell County Health Department reports that an additional 21 cases of COVID-19 have been identified in the county. This brings the year to date total number of cases to 2186. Currently, there are 135 known active cases in Howell County. Of these 135, six are currently hospitalized with COVID-19. Of the new cases 18 reside in West Plains, 2 live in Willow Springs, and 1 lives in Pomona. Positive cases and significant exposures to cases have been notified and have been placed on isolation or quarantine. There are 18 cases that are considered community spread, or the source of the infection is unknown. There are 3 cases that have been linked to known cases.
