Howell County Health Department reports that an additional 30 cases of COVID-19 have been identified in the county (totals include Saturday, Sunday and Monday). This brings the year to date total number of cases to 2249. Currently, there are 87 known active cases in Howell County. Of these 87, six are currently hospitalized with COVID-19. Of the new cases 19 reside in West Plains, 6 live in Mountain View, 2 live in Willow Springs, 1 lives in Pomona, 1 lives in Moody and 1 lives in Brandsville. Positive cases and significant exposures to cases have been notified and have been placed on isolation or quarantine. There are 15 cases that is considered community spread, or the source of the infection is unknown. There are 15 cases that have been linked to known cases.
